#BestLobsterFest: Que rico!

This is part of a sponsored campaign with Being Latino and Red Lobster.  However, all opinions expressed are my own.

In Miami, we definitely don’t run short on great opportunities to eat seafood! Since I moved to the 305, I have pretty much tripled the amount of seafood that I enjoy…k rico, verdad? Living just blocks from the ocean (that’s a picture I took during one of my walks below), I come across alot of crab and different types of fish…pero, I haven’t really had the chance to disfrutar some good lobster in a while! Even though we are so near the mar, I still feel like the lobster on the menu on the fancy restaurants seems out of my budget. I can imagine that those living in the interior states feel it even more, verdad?

Coconut Grove FL

I say all of that because I was recently contacted by Red Lobster to help them spread the word about the #BestLobsterFest season! It then occurred to me that Red Lobster would actually be a great option for me to get that langosta fix that I have been missing without having to spend my food budget for the entire month! Their Lobsterfest is back this year, and better than ever with nine new and classic lobster selections. In addition to the classic Lobster Lover’s Dream® and the Ultimate Feast®, there are three new entrees to try:

• Dueling Lobster Tails: A roasted Maine lobster tail topped with tender shrimp in a creamy garlic sauce paired with a golden-baked Maine lobster tail with crab-and-seafood stuffing. Served over mashed potatoes, roasted tomatoes and green beans.

• Lobster in Paradise: A split Maine lobster tail fried in our signature coconut batter, spicy grilled shrimp and a lobster-and-shrimp bake topped with toasted crushed macadamia nuts.

• Ultimate Surf and Turf: A Maine lobster tail baked with crab-and-seafood stuffing paired with a peppercorn-seasoned grilled sirloin topped with Maine lobster meat in a citrus-hollandaise sauce. Served over mashed potatoes, roasted tomatoes and green beans.

Sounds like a great excuse to grab your friends and/or familia and head out for a dinner together, verdad? Also, if your mouth is watering like mine, make sure you stay connected with Las Gringas…we will be giving away a gift card to Red Lobster muy pronto!
