Daddy Yankee Launches European Tour with Sold Out Shows
So apparently they love El Jefe just as much in Europe as they do here in the United States! Earlier this month, Daddy Yankee launched the King Daddy tour to sold-out crowds in Calabria, Italy and Nantes, France. After a very successful tour in 2013, Daddy Yankee and his team added more cities this time around and will continue his Euro road trip across several other cities in France and Italy, before heading to the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, and Spain. It’s so cool that the gente across the pond are Daddy Yankee fans too! I guess reggaeton really has become an international genre that extends beyond the Spanish language and Caribbean culture. I just now have this really fun images of a bunch of Germans getting down to Gasolina….love it!
