Gerardo Ortiz Launches New Record Label
While I do love my música mexicana...I’m definitely still learning my way around the Regional Mexican genre. However, I do know that Gerardo Ortiz is a big deal and his fans will love this bit of news. Ortiz has announced that he is launching his own record label, Bad Sin Records. That’s super padre, no? But wait…eso no es todo: the label will be holding auditions in September in LA to find new talento to add to the label’s roster!
After watching the video promotion for the new label (posted below), I have a better feel for what they are trying to do with this new record label…and I must say it is pretty inspirational. I really appreciate seeing big name musicians giving new artistas a chance!
