John Leguizamo’s Ghetto Klown Comes to a Cuidad Near You!
Emmy Award winner John Leguizamo, known for his many film roles, brings his stand-up show, Ghetto Klown, to Texas and Florida. The New York Times says that Leguizamo on stage is “irresistible. He has the energy of a 12-year old who has just downed a Red Bull and a jumbo package of Twinkies.” Don’t know about you, but that sounds like something I’ve got to see!
Born in Bogotá, Colombia and raised in Queens, Leguizamo defines himself as a man between cultures and nationality. He is also a man of many talents…getting his start in stand-up, but also contributing both comedic and more serious roles to Film, TV, and even Broadway.
I’ve always thought Leguizamo was a bit off his rocker (I mean…did you see his performance as Lautrec in Moulin Rouge?) and the reviews of the stand-up confirm that I won’t be left down. This guy is a hoot and I can’t wait to see him when he makes his way to South Florida!
You can get the compete list of tours date here, but for my 305 people…he will be at the Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theater March 9-11.
