We have some big music news for the gente living in the 305! Latin rock band, Kinky, will be performing at La Covacha in Doral on April 6th…so mark your calendarios ahora! This multi-Grammy Award nominated groupo has been producing some of the best electronica/ alternative rock music to emerge from south of the border….directo de Mexico! You better believe Las Gringas will be there to check out these 5 chicos from Monterrey (Gilberto Cerezo, Ulises Lozano, Carlos Chairez, Omar Góngora, and Cesar Pliego) and rock out to their musica.
Pues, being from Mexico, the majority of their canciones are in Spanish…PERO they do have some Spanglish lyrics, which we love! Kinky’s enormous popularity is palpable in each of its live shows. Every article that I’ve read about them mentions the amount of energy they has onstage…so, seguro its going to be an awesome concierto!
