New Artist Spotlight: “La Firma” Santana
Las Gringas are always happy to support new artistas as they make their wait into the music industry…especially ones as promising as this Colombian living in Toronto Canada by the name of “La Firma” Santana.
He is set to release his first album entitled “A Mi Manera” this month. The album is set to be promoted and played all throughout South America, North America and Europe. There are many radio, magazine and television appearances scheduled, including an interview with Multi Platinum artist Don Omar’s radio “Red Link Radio.”
For a little background on this chico: Cesar Acosta Santana was born on July 19, 1991 in Cali, Colombia. He lived a major part of his childhood in Colombia until the young age of 13 where, when he traveled to the United States ultimately residing in Atlanta, Georgia. He lived in Georgia for 3 years and it was there that his great desire for music began. He initially experimented with Rap but discovered that his passion was in the Reggaeton / Hip-hop genre. In early 2007, Cesar landed on Canadian soil. More specifically, Toronto, Ontario where he began to dedicate all of his time into his music.To promote his new album, La Firma will be opening the show for Colombia’s very own J. Balvin, on his Canadian Tour in March 2013. Thereafter, performing at Puerto Rican superstar, Tego Calderon’s concert in April 2013.
We hope to be hearing some of his tunes on the radio in Miami sometime soon…and maybe he will even take a trip away from the cold North to visit sunny 305!
