Muy Bueno Cookbook Featuring Three Generations of One Family Now Available!

In 2010, born and raised, Evangelina Soza and her daughters, Veronica Gonzalez-Smith y Yvette Marquez-Sharpnack, launched their blog, Muy Bueno, to share their love of flavorful Mexican food and recipes for their favorite dishes alongside family stories and photos. Their site was so well received and successful, that they are branching out beyond the digital realm, and have released a cook book, Muy Bueno: Three Generations of Authentic Mexican Flavor, inspired by their blog!

The dishes included in the book pull from traditions of mother/grandmother, Jesusita Mendias-Soza, and her old-world northern Mexican recipes, south of the border home-style dishes from Evangelina, and Latin fusion recipes from Yvette and Veronica! I’m telling you, my mouth is watering just from writing this post, and I cannot wait to get my hands on this cookbook and try out these recipes!

The cookbook will feature the following elements for readers enjoyment:

  • 100 recipes divided into chapters on Tamales, Breads, Salsas, Drinks, Aguas and Paletas, Appetizers, Soups, Entrees, Sides, and Desserts

  • A rich family history as shared through the authors’ personal anecdotes, photos, cooking tips, and more
