Nelly Furtado is getting all kinds of ghetto fabulous chic in her new video for “Parking Lot“. Part digital light show, part split screen dance extravaganza, the vid is fun in that very special Nelly-funky-pop-yes-I-am-wearing-this-and-its-awesome-way. The single comes from her 2012 release, The Spirit Indestructible, her fifth studio album. The last we heard from Furtado was her all-Spanish album, Mi Plan in 2009. Indestructible is definitely headed in a different direction than Plan (less pop/light more dark/electronic-ish), and I think “Parking Lot” might be the best single off the new album.
