Getting ready for Navidad at Walgreens

Ya casi…Christmas time is just around the corner! While I spend the Navidad time in Tennessee with all my family, I always do all my Christmas shopping in Miami…so I can take a little bit of the 305 with me when I venture to the cold for a few weeks! While you might not think about it, Walgreens is the perfect place to find local items…along with all of the typical gift items, whatever you need to check off your regalo list! So I could really get a good Miami vibe, I ventured to the Walgreens on Calle 8 to do some Christmas shopping for my familia…and pick up a few things for myself to decorate my casita for the holidays!

If you’ve been into a Walgreens recently, you will know they offer an array of ideas for those last-minute, gifts to help make your holidays a little less stressful. So, to get myself lista for my trip to Tennessee, I picked up some great “Miami” regalos that will share all that I love about this city with my familia. I thought some yummy Latino dulces and galletas would be great stocking stuffers…

Plus, nothing says Miami like some souvenirs…so that my family can keep the 305 around all year long and think of me whenever they seem them! Walgreens is actually my go-to place for any Miami-centric gifts that I need, but it especially comes in handy during the holidays!

And since I couldn’t resist, I also checked out all the decorations…and one of the perks of visiting the Walgreens on Calle Ocho- some of them where in español…pretty much Gringa Heaven! So along with the regalos for my familia, I had to take home with me some adorable “Feliz Navidad” decorations for my casa!

My last great find was actually for my amigos here in the 305…this Walgreens had a huge selection of Navidad cards in español…some of them were even Spanglish! Again, this is pretty exciting for a Gringa who loves all thing Spanish…it really is a fun change from your typical cartas!
