Glee Adds Mexican Actor/Singer, Samuel Larson, to Cast.
We know that Las Gringas has been talking about Glee a lot lately…um, a whole a lot, but right now the Glee plus super-awesome-Latino-artists combo is extremely relevant. So, I’m going to go ahead and not feel bad because I’m dishing about it every five days! Besides, you know you want to read about it every five days anyway…
We’re talking about the hit teen musical show today because they have hired on a new cast mate, and he’s representing for Mexico! Samuel Larson has teamed up with our other fave high school singers as Joe Hart. He stole the scene in last week’s Valentine’s Day episode by serenading our mini-Streisand, Rachel (Lea Michele) on the school quad with his rendition of Gym Class Heroes’ “Stereo Hearts“.
Larson won his appearance through the show’s Glee Project reality competition series. And it turns out he’s got more than just vocal skills. He can also play several instruments including the guitar, drums, bass and piano!
For now, it doesn’t look like he’s a permanent member of the cast, but I wouldn’t bank on that for long! No doubt the producers will wisen up and offer this talented young man a more permanent position in the story line.
