William Levy Dances Salsa on Dancing with the Stars Confirms Role in Telenovela La Tormenta.
William Levy is one busy, sexy hombre! On Monday night, he wowed the judges again when he stripped down for a riveting salsa on Dancing with the Stars, plus he just announced that as soon as he packs up his dancing shoes, he will be staring in a new telenovela!
I wonder what los gringos think about William Levy? Other than being “that hot guy in JLo’s video” he has had little exposure to the Anglo world, but now he is the “hot guy to beat” on one of the most popular prime-time reality competitions on ABC. For exactly that reason, I was very surprised to hear he was taking his talents back to telenovelas, staring in a re-make of the classic melodrama “La Tormenta” on Televisa which will begin production at the end of the DWTS season.
Anyone else sorprendido by this move? I was sure his success on DWTS was his first step at a cross-over career, but even in the mist of all the buzz…he is already heading back to the small español screen. Oh well, English or español, I have no doubt his fans will keep on loving their bon bon cubano!
